[ BACK ]  Detailed Description Direct Action Vest w/o Soft Ballistics. For models with ballistics, please call 650-580-8319. The DAV was designed specifically for Direct Action Assault. The vest is streamlined to allow for assaulting, climbing and ease of weapons handling while providing maximum protection. The DAV is an over the-head side entry vest, that uses both an internal and external cummerbund. The internal cummerbund ensures a stable and comfortable fit while sitting, running or jumping. The removable external cummerbund is used to cover and stabilize pouches while climbing or negotiating urban terrain (operators may use the external cummerbund for added load carrying capability). The DAV comes with adjustable shoulders for proper fit and added comfort. The DAV like all PPM equipment is manufactured to withstand the rigors of combat. The system is fully modular (compatible with MOLLE/SPEAR, ALICE and MALICE ) pouches and accessories. Takes 2-3 weeks to ship. |
