Detailed Description
MS2-LED has compact form factor, most suitable for rapid deployment units and SWAT teams during force entry where maneuverability and reduced equipment weight are most desirable. Protected by anti-scratch tempered glass lens, the light source of MS2-LED is a shockproof high power genuine Luxeon LED built into a fortified assembly with sophisticated electronic current regulation circuitry for maximal duration of peak brightness. The exterior of MS2-LED is in our anti-reflective, anti-abrasive, and anti-corrosive PentagonLight™ signature dual-tone finish in olive drab for ensuring low visibility in maintaining stealth without glaring which may give away position. MS2-LED is fully integrated with A.R.M.S.’s most compact #17S throw lever mount for easy attachment to Picatinney rails, and quick detachment for servicing. Throw lever mount ensures positive engagement and prevents loosening from vibration resulting from weapon firing as would with screw mounts. Optional safety pin is available for securing the throw lever. MS2-LED has double O-ring seal in all connections for fail-safe and redundant protection against water leakage. PentagonLight™ is the market leader with the largest selection of alternate light sources for converting MS2-LED to become a Powerful IR Illuminator, Tactical Xenon Light, and other lights, so your return on the initial investment is maximized. MS2 LED is preconfigured with one of the tail-cap options: TC3 momentary tactical tail-cap switch, TR3 straight-cord remote pressure pad switch, TR4 coil-cord remote pressure pad switch, or TC4 push ON/OFF tail-cap switch option. (Photo shows TR3 option.) The pentagonal shape tail-cap facilitates rotation for operating the switch mechanism. The unit can be easily serviced in the field including the option of replacing the front tempered glass lens if it is damaged during an unexpected frontal impact. A Field Service Kit is available separately for servicing MS2-LED in remote locations. Each MS2-LED is individually serialized for inventory control.
